All Things Salad !

Salads are boring. Hearing the name of salad, can ring a slight sense of disgust in people. 

But here I am , to save your day. And your healthy lifestyle journey.

This salad is really quick, you can whip this up in minutes. 


What you need ?

  • PROTEIN INGREDIENT - overnight soaked sundal - you can choose from Chickpeas, Black channa, Navrangi, Karamani, White or green peas, peanuts etc... (OR) you can also grill some tofu/paneer.
  • FIBRE INGREDIENT - Lettuce, cherry tomatoes, onion, cucumber
  • Salt, chili flakes, pepper
  • Carbs and fats are covered in the above ingredients. 
  • You can also add - steamed broccoli , sauteed mushrooms etc...
The process

  1. Chop all the fibre ingredients and add it to a bowl. 
  2. Pressure cook your sundal. 
  3. After the sundal has cooled down, add it to the fibre bowl. 
  4. You can either finish your salad with just salt, chili flakes and pepper , or you can also add the salad dressing as given below. 
Salad dressing

If you desire a salad dressing then ,
  • Yogurt
  • lemon juice
  • garlic
  • 1 green chili
  • some mint leaves
  • some coriander leaves
  • salt
Add all the above ingredients and grind it finely in a mixer into a paste, adjusting the consistency with water. 
And then drizzle it over the salad bowl.
